The diploma Studio is an advanced design special topics studio, undertaken as creative work and applied research with leeway for interpretation by students. Each student will develop an architectural design project exhibiting advanced design thinking and communication as a capstone experience to his or her professional education.
MEND is a group project completed with 5th year architecture students Christina Ceniceros and KariBeth Propes. Software used in this project include Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, and Enscape. This project was entered into the EURēCA: Undergraduate Research + Creative Achievement Competition and won the 1st Place Award (Interior Architecture) and the Award of Excellence (Architecture). MEND was also a finalist for the Tau Sigma Delta Distinguished Design Award.
